Tuscan Culture

Tuscany (La Toscana), located in Central Italy, with it sprawling landscapes leading in and out of medieval towns to the cities with rich artistic legacies. Florence (Firenze) the hub and home of influential artists & inventors, Michelangelo & Galileo Galilei to name just two and their benefactors The Medici Family is where the action was and still is to this day.

Most people visit during the peak of the season in July. We recommend, if given the added opportunity, to venture into the surrounding hilltop areas, especially, San Gimignano, during the Autumn in Tuscany.

If you've never read The Agony & the Ecstasy by Irving Stone, we highly recommend that you do. Especially, if you are taking your first trip to Italy. Immersed into the culture, you'll feel as if you've been living in the midst of the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
